Client Review

LexisNexis Martindale Hubbell; Client Review provides in-house counsel and other sophisticated buyers of legal services with client recommendations of a law firm's client service, quality of legal representation and value for money.

Client Review has been introduced with the needs of sophisticated buyers of international legal services particularly in mind. For many years buyers have requested a reliable resource providing anonymous client feedback and comments on law firms.

The entire Client Review process is facilitated independently by Martindale-Hubbell. At its centre is a straightforward online survey which the clients of a law firm subject to Client Review will complete. The findings and feedback from these surveys are aggregated by Martindale-Hubbell before being forwarded to the subject firm to review. Responses and feedback are not attributed to individual respondents.

Overview

How Client Review Works

Complete a Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Survey

Clients of law firms can complete a brief, online survey to provide insight into a lawyer's or firm's communication ability, responsiveness, quality of service, value for money and their overall recommendation. The survey takes only a few minutes to complete.

Provide Anonymous Feedback

Client Reviews are anonymous and individual identities are not shared with the lawyer or law firm. However, a demographic summary of all Reviewers will be displayed.

Share Results

When Martindale-Hubbell receives a minimum of three completed Client Reviews, the data is aggregated and shared with the firm. If a firm chooses to publish their Client Review rating, it will be displayed on martindale.com and lawyers.com.1. Firms may select which narrative feedback they would like to publish beside their Client Review rating.

Benefits to Clients

Leverage Market Feedback

With Client Review data, you can leverage the first-hand experiences of other clients when evaluating a lawyer or law firm for a matter—especially in new geographical areas or where your knowledge of legal talent may be limited.

Make More Confident Decisions

Further justify the selection of a lawyer or law firm by combining Client Review data with other indicators of expertise, including law firm profile data, Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™, litigation and transactional experience, legal articles and more.

Share Your Experience

Participating in Client Review improves the depth of decision-support content available to other buyers of legal services. By providing a more comprehensive view of a lawyer and or law firm, it is easier to evaluate and select with confidence.

Benefits to Lawyers and Law Firms

Gain More Insight

Client Review feedback can be shared with prospects on martindale.com and lawyers.com to differentiate from the competition and add depth and broader exposure to your Martindale-Hubbell profile. It can be used internally as third-party validation of your own internal client review process. Or it can be used as your primary source of feedback, too.

Promote Lawyer and Law Firm Expertise

Client Review helps drive awareness among current clients and qualified prospects of your credentials, experience and client service excellence.

Differentiate Your Law Firm

Client Review data help firms attract new business by providing potential buyers with a more comprehensive view of lawyers and law firms as well as third-party validation that they are making the right hiring decision.
